Account, limits & privacy
Free accounts. Persistent keys. Clear testing limits.
Sign back in whenever you need
Your account is stored in Cloudflare D1. Sign in with your email and password to view daily usage or replace your API key. Signing out or closing the page does not revoke the API key. The browser clears its session and key on reload; sign in again to manage the account.
Lost your key or password?
- API key: sign in and choose “Replace API key”. Copy the new key and update your integration. The previous key stops working.
- Password: choose “Forgot password?” and enter your email, saved recovery code and a new password. Save the replacement recovery code and generate a new API key.
Email is a login identifier and is not yet verified. Password recovery currently uses the saved recovery code, not an email link. Keep the code in a password manager. We do not store readable passwords, API keys or recovery codes.
Current testing limits
| Limit | Allowance |
|---|---|
| Processing | 100 compression/retrieval attempts per account per UTC day. |
| API key lifetime | No expiry. Revocation, replacement or account deletion stops it. |
| Shared capacity | 2,000 processing attempts/day across the service. |
| New accounts | 2/network/day; 100/day across the service. |
| Source / question | 50,000 / 4,000 UTF-16 units. |
| Body | 256 KiB processing; 4 KiB account credentials; 8 KiB feedback. |
| Rate limits | 120 API requests/minute/network; 60/minute/key. Authentication: 5/minute/network and 10 attempts/email/10 minutes. |
| Feedback | 3 messages per key; up to 2,000 characters each. |
Daily limits reset at midnight UTC. Replacing a key does not reset usage. Shared capacity can run out before your personal allowance. Limits may change while testing; there is no payment or automatic paid upgrade.
What we store
Source documents are processed on Cloudflare and are not stored by this application. D1 stores your email, salted and peppered password hash, recovery-code hash, API-key hash, session hashes and daily usage.
Daily salted IP hashes limit signup abuse. The application does not store raw IPs. Daily abuse and usage records are cleaned within three days; expired sessions daily; optional feedback within 31 days. Cloudflare also processes network metadata under its own policies.
Delete your account
Sign in, open “Manage API key and account”, confirm deletion and choose “Delete account”. This removes your login data and daily account usage and revokes access. Older feedback attached to replaced keys remains subject to its 31-day retention period.
Availability
The free public beta is provided without a production SLA. Check answer quality before relying on it, and retain your original source for fallback.
