Ryan Rose / Software engineering
Cloud and DevSecOps.
Repeatable deployments. Infrastructure your team can operate.
I work with cloud infrastructure, containers and delivery pipelines to support software deployment and handover. My skillset covers AWS, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes and infrastructure as code.

Connect development to deployment
A working application also needs a practical route into its target environment. That includes configuration, access, deployment steps and a way to diagnose problems after a release.
We start by reviewing the application and current delivery process. The scope might be a containerised service, a repeatable environment or an improvement to an existing build and deployment pipeline.
Cloud and delivery tools
My technical skills include AWS EC2 and EKS, Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform and Helm. For delivery workflows, I work with GitHub Actions, Argo CD and Nexus.
The choice should fit the application and the team. Kubernetes is not a requirement for every service; operating complexity and ongoing ownership are part of the discussion.
Security and maintainability
DevSecOps work brings access controls, secret handling and review into the delivery process. Changes should be testable and documented, with a clear approach to rollback and operational checks.
I hold Microsoft certifications across Azure development, administration, security and architecture, including DevOps Engineer Expert. An engagement can include configuration, pipeline changes and documentation so your team understands how the deployment operates.
Before we start.
Can you improve our existing pipeline?
Yes. We can review the current build and deployment process, identify a specific problem and scope a change around the tools already in place.
Does this include ongoing infrastructure support?
Support responsibilities and response expectations are agreed separately as part of the engagement. A deployment project does not automatically include a round-the-clock managed service.
Talk through your project.
Bring the process, system or idea you want to improve. We’ll discuss requirements, constraints and whether a focused first build makes sense.
