The operational problem
Telecom contractor work brings together job instructions, field evidence, completion records and office review. The software direction explored here connects those steps so reviewers can see the job requirements and supporting material together. The brand is unnamed.
My work: shaping the software workflow
I explored an AI operations platform covering engineer job workflows, job packs, APIs, dashboards, evidence and photo checking, LLM-assisted QA and completion-pack generation. This study describes that workflow-design work; it does not present a deployed client platform or measured operational results.
From job instructions to a completion pack
The proposed flow starts with the engineer’s job pack, brings the submitted evidence alongside the requirements and prepares it for review. AI-assisted checking would flag missing information or material that needs attention. A reviewer would resolve those flags before approving the completion pack.
A clear boundary for AI assistance
Photo and evidence checks can help organise a review, but an AI assessment should not be treated as proof that physical work is correct. The proposed workflow keeps approval with a person and distinguishes missing evidence from a confirmed defect.
APIs, dashboards and operational handover
The design brings job status, evidence and completion reporting into a connected operational view. For an implementation, the first step would be to agree the source systems, required job fields, access permissions and review criteria, then test one complete job journey before expanding it.
A separate network-API exploration
The notes also cover a separate telecom identity and risk direction: phone-number verification, SIM-swap checks and fraud/risk APIs. These were product explorations, not delivered capabilities of the contractor workflow described above.
What this project demonstrates
The engineering focus is turning a fragmented operational process into a defined software workflow: inputs, evidence, review decisions and outputs. No deployment, savings or performance figures are claimed for this concept.
